Yep the steepest hill around these parts plans to open its NUMBER ONE RATED LIFT SYSTEM on Friday the 21st. Long range 4casts still call for about 45'' of snow by opening day. It was snowing pretty good all day today, many jibbers were out and about building kickers and tossin down some made rail slides.
I have someone kept myself from skinning up so far, perhaps it is the volcanic choss that looms so close to the surface still.
I'm guessing there is a good 9'' at the base right now, snowmaking has consumed over 5 MILLION gallons of water, all of which has deposited massive ammounts of man made crud on Thunderbird, over 8' deep in places... i'm guessing that snow will be around will into mid July.
I know there are some cc'ers coming down for turkey day weekend, we should all have a pub club at my office or my house apres.
