Bikeman, I have spent extensive amounts of time in the Crystal lakes area. What I wonder is how far is the decent from the back of Crystal Mountain Ski Resort to 410?

Am I paranoid yet? No, most people have no idea how much of there personal info is already on the web. This just makes it legal for the government to read it. Think of how many people are in the US, so the government is going to look at your info? I be there are a lot of other people who are more suspicious.

I agree it is practically impossible for the Crystal Ski Patrol to catch you. I did not think it was such a big deal, but MRNP has asked Crystal to increase there patrols of the boarder. I wonder if this gripe that MRNP has any thing to do with a potential lawsuit if some one is injured?

As I understand it: MRNP says it is OK to hike in from 410 and ski down. But it is not acceptable to buy a ticket us the lifts, and then ski down the back side.

Skisports If you are referring to skiing down the back side of Crystal into the park, that is illegal, and there is going to be more patrolling for that reason this year. If the season ever arrives.
