I agree with avoiding teeth if possible. What do people think about using a Micro-scender for TR?

I checked it out in the summer from the Commonwealth basin side looking at it from the PCT right before the Kendall Catwalk. It didn't look like a scramble. The entire ridgeline looked pretty technical. It may not be as bad on the other side.

I would be interested in skiing on Sunday. The routes that you mentioned might be hard to access because it's tricky to find the right way up out of Commonwealth Basin. There's always Red Mountain.

Following the rules of avalanche terrain is often overlooked when skiing in trees. Although skiing one at a time is the rule on open slopes I think that when skiing in the trees the party should keep eachother in sight. This way you can call out if you get in trouble. As always beacons are a must.
