I actually have a TON of stretch marks. some are from when i had kids and some are from when i was a teen and losing and gaining weight all the time. they don't really bother me. they have faded some but i will have them until i die battle scares. I earned them.
-
that was my ex husband and i i didn't think it was funny when i weighed 210 and he was trying to gain weight but now i find it amusing.

are you in eugene? do i know you??? i was bummed i missed that show but i had the kiddos and my ex was a way huger fan than i was so i was stoked for him

i totally feel your pain. even the smallest abrasion on your eye feels like someone left their Doc Martins rammed up inside your eyelid. about 2 years ago i tried wearing contacts. I have really dry eyes and one day with out thinking about what i was doing i pulled out one of my contacts without moistening my eye. i ripped my cornea half way off and it rolled up. under my eye lid. 2 weeks later i scratched the other cornea so bad i had to go to the eye doc and make sure i didn't tear that one. that was the end of contacts for me.

i saw them about a million and a half years ago in PDX. i am glad you enjoyed!!!!

hmmm i think you can do something about that

being unhappy is not a disease. it is a signal to make changes. life is a beautiful gift. and such an amazing opportunity to have experiences.
-
I couldn't agree more. there is such a huge (in my opinion)between depression the disease and a sad experience in someones life. i think there is no need for some oen to be taking an anti depressant unless they are in the care of a mental health professional. giving some one a pill to deal with change or loss does short change them. they are left with out coping tools on how to deal with the more and more change and loss we experience in out lives. i am medicated. but i have i diagnosed disorder and i am in the care of a mental health professional. drugs open the doors to change and therapy offers a path to walk on once you walk through the door. the go hand in hand effectively. drugs with out the therapy is like putting a band aid on a heart attack.

hmm this is a contest i might actually have a shot at

OUCH 4 bucks for a corona is a pretty rude ass fuck and you are right. the bike ride was great and the food was AWSOME. I am dating this guy who can really REALLY cook and when you put the two of us in the kitchen together, well lets just say magic doesn't only happen in the bed room Feck on the working. 'bout time you start doing something to keep you out of trouble

i hate you, not in the i wish something bad would happen to you way but in the GOD DAMMIT i want to climb or hike or something kind of way. i need to go to dirt school so i can mountain bike worth a damn. *pout* i sat around a lot. worked on planning the raised garden beds i am going to build this year so i can use them next year. went and saw transformers. i went on a 20 mile bike ride on Wednesday. but it was all on a paved path. for any one who doesn't know eugene has approximately 100 miles in paved bike paths along the rivers and through town. had brunch at Keystone Cafe' (YUM) made watermelon gazpacho. had southern slaw dogs for dinner on thursday. went to cold stone i think thats about it. *sigh*

This is good advice. And people will not want to give you their last name; and contact info might change. However, employees are generally required to give thier employee number when asked directly for it. If you put on your business voice and just outright ask, they are usually so surprised that they'll give it to you no matter what. this is true and if you are ubur polite and don't at any point lose your cool you will be ahead of the game. Just insist calmly you need to talk to a supervisor or that your situation needs to be escalated.

that is soooo COOL that you are behind the wheel!!!

the fact that if i know someone is not up to the task because they are a beginner that i'd just say "ah well, fuck it, you're on your own" and then hold the rope... my point was... you can't know if someone is up to it or not. you can choose to not climb with that person if you think they are being an idiot. and i have done that before. but the person i chose not to climb with just found a different partner and totally had an epic. i can't make someone not climb because i don't think they are ready. i can only take myself out of the situation. p.s. i thing Rumr likes to go out of his way to disagree with me just for the entertainment factor.
-
R&D was my first multi to follow as well. i haven't been up that way in quite a long time but i would climb it again. it was s totally fun route. i just don't like to like to lead much.
-
it's hard to be in a situation like that. learning to lead is scary (i am a totaly chicken) the bottom line in your situation is this person told you that she felt she was experienced enough to take on this challenge. it is not your responablity as a climbing partner to judge weather she really does know what she says she knows. all you can do is trust that your climbing partner has done proper research on the route and has appropriate experience to lead the route. if you were a guide you would have to take responsablity. as climbers we all have to shoulder our own responsablity for our own ablity and our own understanding of climbing systems and how they work.
