Price is not everything. There is a very small local gearshop that we try to purchase from as much as possible. There are 3 reasons I like to shop there. I've seen one of the owners climb, and I have a great deal of respect for him as a climber, when we go there he knows us by name and spends time with us. He knows my kids and has a good time with them in the shop, he lets them handle gear and encourages my 3 year old and my 6 year old to place gear and to climb.... he is also kind to my children at the local crag, and spotted my 6 year old on his best problem yet. If Back Country Gear(plug) dose not carry a brand that we want then we head to REI, or online. It makes me feel good to suport a local business run by people that I like.

Are you talking about the collums here in Eugene???? Pub club is the 10th @ 6:30 if you can make it, the following one will be the 24th as we meet every other week. A bunch of us climb most tuesdays and thursdays as well. I think we are hoping for a trip to smith this weekend, other wise I would be up for it. I will let you know if smith does not happen

Dogs are welcome bring full rack as the only bolts are anchor. there are about 20 cracks to climb from 5.easy to 5.12ish(?) correct me if I am wrong belle, or JK. totaly bummper bellay, much fun... drive south head down town belle has better directions and a map. But they are in the middle of town, on the side of a big hill you can see climbers from I-105. Hope to see you there

sprinkled yesterday am, and some thunder but then it stopped and we went on a major explore got in some DIFFICULT climbing and had a great time... I love living in the southern willamette valley by the way it is sunny and clear here should be in the 80's today.

Just over the past ten years things have changed alot... more people recycle, there are Hybrid cars for sale to the general public. I think all people are more aware of our impact on the planet, and that if we want to be here for long we will each have to do what we can/ are willing to do, to extend our stay . It is not impossible to change the world, just time consuming . As soon as they have a hybrid 4 wheel drive, that will be my first brand new car P.S. tell the bad people to stay out of alaska... the amount of oil there is not worth the trama of drilling it.
