Yes... as the sun started to set, not long after the BEND CREW took off, mustang sally and I went for a walk, I was starting to worry a bit but was convinced that JK EWIK and SHRED were climbing SOMETHING>>>> yet could not THINK of where TEX could be... I was dubled over in hunger, parched from thirst freezing cold and you know all over Smith suffering no, realy, they all showed up about half an hour after you all left and we went to camp BTW in case anyone cares... I had always heard that the hike to Kowala Rock was realy hard and wasn't realy worth it BLAH BLAH BLAH... I loved it. We had so much fun. there were good climbs of all levels there. I inteand to go back and climb some more stuff there.

quote: Originally posted by b-rock: Yeah, no kidding. I hadn't climbed rock at all before this year, and now I'm leading easy trad and doing alpine routes previously unimaginable. No classes, few books, just a lot of searching and sifting and slack time at work, followed by as much climbing as I could muster. I've met, drank, climbed, and puffed with almost a dozen good people that I've met here. Climbing has done so many positive things for me this year and for that (and this site) I am grateful. right on!!!! I think that is what makes cc.com a little comunity of it's own

Alex- I prefer public debate, thank you perhaps you are correct that cc.com does not serve as a platform for the "local" climbing comunity. I would not know as I am from a diffrent state. What I do know, is that when I wanted to climb and take a family vaction to washington, JK and I were offered a ton of helpful suggestions, which have made our trips just that much better.

Alex- I take your point, and I still disagree. Perhaps there is no relavence left on this bord for you and yours, but I enjoy it tramendously. The humor and the information. as I sat at my computer crying and reading erdens posts about Goran Krop I was realy glad there there is a cc.com. so that we my grieve to gether, so that we may laugh together, so that we may all come together and climb. when someone wants to know how to clean a down bag they get an answer in less then 10 minutes. when jk and I needed to know the best way to wash a rope... we got answers. we as adults are able to pick threw the posts and find what is relevent to any given situation. people could always be nicer... they could also be less pompus. heinuscling- I am married and no one I have climbed with gets pissed off that they don't get laid at the end of the day

Alex- you may not agree with cavey or greg on many things, but as for greg when I wanted to climb my first MULTI PITCH climb he offerd to take me. to rope gun and hang out with me for a day and teach me about something I have never done before. You didn't. NONE of the so called APROPRATE people jumped up and said "hey sk, I can help you out" Greg did. In my book, even though he may fuck with people, he is good people. BTW that all happend on and because of this bored. I climed two multi pitch routes just last weekend and had a great time CLIMBING with people that I met threw this BBS. so what was your problem again??? People arn't nice enough??? maybe you are the problem??? I am a suck shit climber and the slowest hiker in the world and still manage to climb with and meet people and learn things via this bbs that you say holds no true content.... whatever

I am offended that scott was offended wich offended dfa which then offended lammy wich then offended Iain and then I was again offended by trask schlong.... did I forget anybody??? child abuse, the kind that actualy happens is not funny! when I was a kid and my dad saw children misbehaving arround us his comment was without fail "kill the kid" along with the ever populare "you had siblings, they just didn't make it" and " I brought you into this world, I can take you out of it" I have never in 30 years seen my father harm any living thing that he did not intend to eat(ie deer, ducks etc.) we can not silence eachother for what may come of what we might say, or we become that wich our country has fought against from it's inseption.
