Hmm... I also find the price tag a bit out of my range. You see, with $4,500 in debt, I find it rather hard to finance a $60,000 import. Hehe. no, I certainly wasn't suggesting that you buy an A4, just thoguht it was interesting that he found it so large. You can actually get a 1.8t (soon to be 2.0t) with quattro and a decent set of options for low 30s. I realize it's still a pricey car, but my big question is why would anybody buy a 3 series BMW when you can get an A4 with AWD and better features, inside and out, for less money?? I agree... next year sometime I hope to have one in my quiver.

I agree with you on the SUV thing. I recently read an article stating that we now have the heaviest cars....ever even the 1970's are no match. This figure didn't even count the H2 or the Escalade... these are not even categorized as light trucks according to the article.

You wonder though if Opera was a popular if it would get as exploited as much. Perhaps they all have gaps, but with the populatiry, the integrity isn't challenged. Either way I am not using it.

Nope, cause he didn't say he used valid facts.

...or the fact that I am 6'3" and driving a honda civic is a pretty shitty encounter whereas driving my f250 is just about right. I have also worked on my truck enough to get almost 20MPG out of it. Probably pretty near what the average 3 year old subaru gets eh?
-
Pot. Kettle. Black. Martlet. Are you implying I use inaccurate facts? Point out one time when I've backed up an assertion with facts that were wrong. Just one. you rarely, if ever use facts to back up assertions. most of your links are to opinion pieces. So the answer is no.

That is what colleges do. It is not the college suggesting affiliation, but rather the club. If access to club funding is not restricted to certain religions, than there is no direct affiliation with the club and the college. If the state college was sending out these cards directly, you might have a point, but it is a club.

Dan is right, they are not promoting a national religion so it doesn't go against the provision. I would be willing to bet there is also a funded Muslim club and if not, there is likely no provision preventing it.

Sick!

Erik... is that you?

Damn! I dare ya to say that to a National Guardsmen.

Everyone read the congressional medal of honor citations. The most pure form of bravery I have ever heard of.

but it certainly seems that the obviously innocent are set free no? If most are released after interrogation, it is likely that the ones getting worked over likely do have something to hide or the authorities have reason to suspect that they do. Why else would they release so many after interogation? Lets hope it isn't random.

Unless they have omnipotent powers, there is NO WAY I repeat NO WAY for them to know if they are guilty or not. I think that goes pretty far in refuting that evidence. Baisically you are implying that the Red Cross transcend empirical testing and would rather just guestimate and use phrenology to figurethe whole mess out and that is ok with you because, "It's up to the Red Cross to back up their data, not me." Classic
-
Can ANYONE hypothesize how they came up with this figure?
-
So then it should be no problem supplying your data to support your assertion. Unless you're pulling it out of your ass but you'd never do that. No-one knows! That is the point! If you want to go off on this 'supply your data" crap, tell me how the Red Cross used empirical analysis to comeup with their 90% figure.
-
Well tell me this. How did they determine the innocence of men without trial? Look at them and say "He doesn't look guilty."? How else could the Red Cross have done this?
-
Not what I said was it? You said that we didn't have data. I am telling you why and telling you why the Red Cross data is completely made up B.S.
-
That's because they haven't been tried not nice boy. How would you know they are innocent or guilty if they haven't even been tried?
-
How in the hell would they know that? I call bull shit.
-
So this is the yardstick we should be using to measure our actions aganinst our captives? I would like to think we don't need to stoop to these atrocities, or come close. No, but mabe the Red Cross can pull their collective head out of their ass by actually helping those in need. We criticize Bush for invading Iraq and not Rwanda, but why not criticize the Red Cross for helping someone who was "humiliated" rather than someone being raped, tortured, slaughtered, pissed on and then hung 20 miles away. If you are gonna be a whiny bitch, at least do it accross the board.
