You can actually get a 1.8t (soon to be 2.0t) with quattro and a decent set of options for low 30s. I realize it's still a pricey car, but my big question is why would anybody buy a 3 series BMW when you can get an A4 with AWD and better features, inside and out, for less money?? I agree... next year sometime I hope to have one in my quiver.

I agree with you on the SUV thing. I recently read an article stating that we now have the heaviest cars....ever even the 1970's are no match. This figure didn't even count the H2 or the Escalade... these are not even categorized as light trucks according to the article.

That is what colleges do. It is not the college suggesting affiliation, but rather the club. If access to club funding is not restricted to certain religions, than there is no direct affiliation with the club and the college. If the state college was sending out these cards directly, you might have a point, but it is a club.

Dan is right, they are not promoting a national religion so it doesn't go against the provision. I would be willing to bet there is also a funded Muslim club and if not, there is likely no provision preventing it.

but it certainly seems that the obviously innocent are set free no? If most are released after interrogation, it is likely that the ones getting worked over likely do have something to hide or the authorities have reason to suspect that they do.
