as to the life of the prints I was talking about...they last just as long as normal photo because they are on standard wet photo paper. Insted of shooting light through the negative they just project the digital image in negative onto the photo paper then wet process. So you get true photos...not dye sub or injet. Oh and they are cheap....29 cents for a 4x6

as for output...I shoot pro (weddings and senior portraits) and use The canon d30 and Olympus E-10 and have a pro lab do my printing, but walgreens and walmart just got new Fuji Frontier printers and they can make great prints on real photo paper in an hour (4x6 up to 8x10). I tested it out. You can even upload them to them on the internet and get them mailed to your house. I have printed some at my pro lab up to 16x20 and I can't tell them from medium format. If you have photoshop you can resample the file size and go very big in the prints. I have not shot film in some time. I do have a question for those of you who have used compact flash cards on the mountains...how good do they work in the cold?? thanks all

I second the Garmont Tower GTX boots very very comfortable and quite some flex to them ( i have a pair and love them...my other boots are sportiva nepals). You could also try the Kayland Multitraction wich I heard is a great boot and way comfortable...

Has anyone used this harness? I just ordered one from barrabes. It is 7.8oz and much lighter than my alpine bod. Did not get it yet but should get it shortly. Trying to keep the load down so I can carry the photography load.
