Doing my research, and OMFG there is a lot of information to wade through.

Sometimes I really, really hate my work schedule.

I just got word of this this morning. Haven't yet seen MT's email on the topic. Reluctant to call Stef yet, anyone have details they can share please pm me. Thanks.

Tolerated the whims and foibles of urolgists and gynocologists from the world over. We'll be downtown for two more days still, if anyone has ant little problems they'd like to pass on to the powers that be, now's the time....the errant conversation you hear in the midst of people in reproductive health is....well, mighty infoamusingly entertainintersting!

It sounds like it's going to be a while before we have a lot of news about Stef's long term recovery. Veg and MT both remind me that Stef doesn't do email at home, so if you PM him, he probably won't see it for a long time. Pray for Stef's speedy recovery! Crap, was it nice out today? I worked another lovely 6:30-5:30 day locked indoors. Same tomorrow, same all next week, same next weekend. Please tell me the weather is crappy and the freshieZZZ are flying. I can't bear this, the weather is being way too cooperative.

I had a very effective therapy session yesterday, and have been absolved of all negative energy.

E-doggy, if you have to be at werk or otherwise not in your wittwe bed where you should be, get your paws on some Thera-Flu. Masks the symptoms beautifully. Then get out of that hellhole and go home to bed. The weekend is coming! [ 10-10-2002, 11:46 AM: Message edited by: allison ]

GET INSURANCE GET INSURANCE GET INSURANCE GET INSURANCE GET INSURANCE GET INSURANCE If you lose your job, you can self-pay (COBRA) and keep your insurance. Sure, it costs money, but it falls just below food and shelter in the list of things that are necessary. Evil, yes, but you have to have it.

The Bait Shop sounds fun. Longtime driver-by, never dropper-inner. Do they have a bar there? Ballard of course being the center of the universe!

I need clarification. Erden said the police have the rope, but Paul said he has the end that G was climbing on. There has been a lot of information posted, but I do not recall seeing anything about rope breakage. Did the rope get cut in the rescue/recovery? Thanks for coming out to Pub Club last night Erden....can't speak for everyone here but for me it was good to see you there, just like maybe it was good for you to see us there.

Scrambling, rock, alpine, on trail or off route, it's all outside, fairly strenuous, adventurous....yes, don't let the elitism get you down. There are a lot of cool people on this site. And yes, there is a ton of challenging and cool stuff that can be done without a rope. It's all good!

Well, Thailor, that'th jutht STHUPER...thee you there!

I recently acquired one of those new super-teeny BD Ion things, and so far, not impressed either with output or battery life. The Princeton Aurora, on the other hand, boy I wish I could find mine, because in the words of Ewic, it's the ShiZ-NIT!

OK, fair eough, then there should be one forum dedicated to whatever off-topic drool is running down your chin at the moment, a place to talk about music, and the state of the site, and just blab off about any old.....oh, wait, never mind...

Jon, when I hung out with Tim last summer I recall him telling me the WTA database was a major inspiration for the cc.com thing. Something that simple, would that be hard to put up? It's fun to read all of the responses to the TRs but it would be cool if there was a big, really easily searchable d-base for TRs right here, like WTA's. No guidebook, just TRs. As you probably know, the search tool on this site is just OK. Other than that (and chat, Timm@y, we miss our chatter!) the site works very well as is, IMHO.

I'm with TLG on this one. Freaky nervous nellies (being one myself of course) don't like these things right there where they can be scary. I think a hunk of rock in the parking lot area or near by with names on it, would be neat and cool. Maybe somewhere where people could leave flowers and be contemplative and that sort of thing, rather than *right* at the base of the route. On a related note, I am partial to corded Demel tools but I imagine the cordless variety set on high speed with the right bit would cut through Vantage basalt like buttah.

Alex, does that mean you'll be joining us tonight? I want to hear all about last weekend! And TLG, bring those thigh-highs with the sticky rubber, could come in handy for a little downtown buildering!

Listen, I said PM is fine. I do know BB, it's not like I'm going to stalk him or anything. And no, Dru, he is not next on my, er, 'list.' Tales of my exploits have been vastly overrated, believe me.

Anyone have an email addy or a phone number for Bryan and/or know if he is living here or over in Mazama at the moment? Post or PM, thanks.
