Foreign press sensationalize and lie about different topics, so for balanced sensationalism and lying, you HAVE TO check out the foreign press, otherwise you won't be lied to about everything, nor will you be completely sensationalized.

"The American people have long enjoyed free use of the environment" McHanes said this morning during a capital steps news conference. "It is with great reluctance that this bill is put forth, but the benefits of this legislation will far outweigh the costs." McHanes proposed bill would institute a $15 fee each time a person uses the environment. The fee would be collected at curbside boxes and neighborhood booths. Collected fees would then be put into a general fund. Eighty five percent of the fund would go towards environmental upkeep at the federal level, while the remainder would be distributed to local communities. Opponents of the bill suggest that any federally mandated fees need to be carefully considered. "We can't just charge a person $15 every time they use the environment without a clear explanation of how the funds will be distributed and spent" says Virginian Democratic representative Gary Wanesforth. "This new fee system will provide a lot of capital resources to federal and local agenices, but the bill, in its current form, lacks a clear picture of how these news monies will be utilized."

"Atlas Shrugged" sucked. The first half was OK, but towards the end, she went totally off on her "Phallocentric Capitalism Will Save the World" rant. I found myself thumbing through the crud to get to the end, a sure sign of a crappy read.

Melt butter in 3pt saucepan. Add finely chopped indica and simmer gently until spicy aroma is evident. (THC is fat soluble) Add chocolate chips stirring constantly, until melted. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth; stir in nuts(soy lecithin is a fat emulsifier that speeds the uptake of fats and fat soluble compounds into the digestive system). Spread in greased rectangular pan 13"x9"x2". Bake until center is set, about 30 minutes; cool completely. Cut into four bars. Eat one bar with 3-6 12 oz beers. Enjoy!!

Yeah, great book, great introduction to some powerful concepts. Another good one, a bit older though, is "The Dancing Wu Li Masters". Sort of clouded with eastern mysticism, though.

Hey there! Anyone catch the front page of the Washington Post this morning? Seems as if some of the Big Wigs are starting to reveal that they think the War could last for months! Hurray for Don Rumsfeld!! Hurray!! I hold the shrub personally responsible. If he would have stayed up past 9:00 to listen to the briefings from the CIA on the true nature of the Iraqi popular conception of the US, or made himself the slightest student of history, he wouldn't have katowed to his bosses and slung our friends and family members over to the middle east with less than superior forces. I can find no words harsh enough to disparage him.
