SKAHA BLUFFS ACCESS SECURED FOR 2007 !
Mar 8, 2007
Negotiations & fundraising for the future solution to Skaha Bluffs access is continuing under the direction of The Land Conservancy.
However, the new access point will not be ready for use this year.
In response to our pleas for interim access, the owner of Braesyde Farm has agreed to let us use the old parking lot for another year.
The parking lot at Braesyde Farm will open on Friday, March 16.
It will be open until approximately Nov 1.
The fees for 2007:
- $10 per day per car
- $20 for passenger vans (6 - 15 passengers)
- $30 for buses
- $75 for annual passes (register at the hut)
Please don't park on Valleyview Road & walk in.
Valleyview is a narrow, dead-end road & there has been considerable resistance to climber's traffic by Valleyview residents.
If you're too poor or cheap to pay for parking at Braesyde Farm, you can:
- Find your way in from the north end.
- Car pool.
Thanks to everyone who has worked then buns off to make this happen.
