Yeah...there are ways Simon could've passed the knot, but considering the climb they just completed (which was repeated not too long ago), his frostbitten hands, how completely exhausted and dehydrated they were I don't know if he was capable of much else. It's a good case study for sure, but I'm not going to add my name to Simon's list of detractors.

The way the new BD packs carry ice axes is pretty dope. For light alpine packs they look like very promising. They're a touch on the "accessorized" side for my taste, but whatever. Stayed in-bounds at White Pass today (2 fer 1 ) and took my new boards out for the first time. TM-EX's 6-8 inches of untouched snow in the trees. It was a great friggin day.

I just got an Airport card for the Powerbook, but I can't connect to the internet at the coffee shop. It's a free hotspot and I can get a signal, but I can't pull anything up on my browser. Anybody got any ideas?
