1960's: Gimme a break. The 60's rate as one of the most violent periods in our history. You should avoid viewing world events through such a small period window. 9/11 Homemade: Please explain. If you believe that somehow the policies of our government justify the murderous actions of religious radicals; fine/whatever. But if you're one of the WHACK-JOBS who believe our government is secretly and wholly responsible for the most well-documented single event in human history then you are a lost cause. You should consider spending ALL of your government assistance on therapy. You are likely no more than paranoia masquarading as compassion.

Pink says: "war is the ultimate paradox. we are to unevolved as human being's not to fight with each other. let me know when you figure this one out. V, i think your a little ahead of your time." Pink, I used to believe this, but you can't really demonstrate that humans are actually evolving in the direction of peace and harmony, can you? I sometimes think our capacity to reflect and learn has grown, but our individuality and divergent paths render us condemned to our condition. I'm not sure I want to live in a world where individuals aren't willing to die (or kill) for their beliefs and freedom.

I believe you have an affliction common to some here on this board, although your case might be more severe:
-
No. You're free to believe as you wish - and live your fat and naive life blissfully unaware that others sacrificed for you.

I doubt you actually know any of the soldiers protecting your right to be a little punk, but I'm sure the vast majority of them are smarter than you. Fuck off.

I read...and avoid doing drugs on the streets of Amsterdam/Vancouver.

For a little insight to the mind of this new poster known as Viendera7 you need not look beyond his/her last entry in The Pirates Forum. Stunning: "i popped 2 purple double domes and 15 min later entered the aquarium at stanley park in vancouver.all was cool until all the glass disappeared and i was walking among the fishies. sooo real. eventually the sounds were freaking me out and my bud swam away , so i left. people were looking at me really weird so i 'knew' i had to rebuild my standing in society so i hung out with 3-4 winos to start back at bottom. once i got the smartest wino to agree i was acceptable i was on my way.people were still freaking out(hair/pissed pants/muddy clothes?)but i didnt care. i then decided to walk back east. i remember i could see the prairies expanding for miles , then the great lakes and the evergreens and to the south east, the ny skyline, aaah. as i was walking i saw a construction zone and every time i walked by after going around the block i could see the whole building coming up. once i figured they were ok without me, i went to bed... the next day i woke up in a ditch , 100 miles east ,cause the water was coming up to my mouth. i dried in the sun and cleaned myself up a little, stuck my tumb out and the 2nd car stopped.he was going to calgary so i went ... " How can a dumbassed right-winger like me ever hope to confront such intellect?

Special Ops?

I'm rarely offered an appetizer, so I just sit there intently swirling my index and middle fingers around the rim of the wine glass while she has her soup and salad - all the while hoping she's saved room for the main course. It's very frustrating, you know. I'd send you the video - but, as promised, I erased it afterwards.

Oh boy! Just what this site needs...another vegan with a protein-starved brain. Carry on.

Is it really possible to survive on 5-7 days of protein and iron per month? I'm not married I can't remember the last time I ate at new restaurant. Dine on, my friend! Dine on.

Fat, lazy bitch. Too bad you don't have one. Not many Canadians do. Canada's only contribution to world literature and culture? Since the emergence of UFC fighting, hockey no longer holds any fascination for Americans. It was always kind of a pussy sport anyway. Nobody but the criminals and punks, of which there are plenty. Glad to see there is a North American victim status sub-category within Canada itself! Maybe if you would stop letting the Frenchies run the show your nation would get something done. Of course not! But apparently killing prostitutes and feeding them to pigs is.

Alcohol is required, but a friend has found this one effective: Damn! Are those real? No way.....let's see.

Drank whiskey on my 21st birthday. Lots of it. Woke up the next day in the ER with an IV in my arm and violently puking. I haven't had a drop since - 24 years and counting. My stomach turns if it is even offered. Whiskey is bad mojo.

Serious question: Is it OK to deposit the turd(s) beneath a layer of sod? Sometimes its easy to cut a 1' X 1' patch on three sides, pull back the layer, roots and all, do the deed, and close the lid. Not serious: Does anyone have one of those 'Tanita' scales? They read in .20lb increments and it's really cool to weigh in before and after. Just knowing how much a turd weighs has changed my entire training program.

Huh? Please explain. Putin, certainly. But Bush? WTF?

Although true, your quote attribution is incorrect. It's W's. And yes, we all know you've been to Chile. (Thanks mom and dad!) Having never strayed more than 100 feet from the tour bus does not lend you insight of any kind. Were you even alive in 1973?

I really hate to get into this speculation, but if the guy in the cave actually used the words "topped out" and said that his friends had "gone on" for help it changes things. It seems to me that if he were on the actual summit he would have been specific and said his companions were "descending" to get help. "Topped out" could translate into being dug in at The Queens Chair - perhaps meaning they completed the Sunshine Route or strayed right on Eliot Headwall? This would also fit his characterization of his friends "going on" for help as opposed to "going down" for help. Words have meaning and at this point I don't think it's inappropriate to try and read between the lines. ??

The fact that Allende had already usurped Chile's constitution by ignoring over 7000 Supreme court rulings and laws rendered him illigitimate. A leader who is elected and then lets the mob shred the nation's guiding documents is no longer just. (Spare me GWB hyperbolic comparisons please.) That aside, you're leaving out one important distinction re communist totalitarianism versus nationalist/military dicatorships: While the later is usually content suppressing political opposition, communism reaches its tentacles into every aspect of individual freedom - personal, political and economic - and renders its population state-dependent. I stand by my stated preference. While there are many governing systems that humans can chose to live under, communism ranks dead last IMO.
