  1. You make look making major stupid maked it is what you made. Translation: You're making yourself look like an idiot every time you press down on the keyboard. RELEEEEEASE the spell you have cast on this rotund soul, I command you she-devil!!! BE CAST OUUUUUT witch, and may thine thanksgiving bird this year burn in the fires of HELLLL!!
  2. Remember, Bill! It's for the children!! And this bradleym guy seems way smarter than you and me, so maybe "Ron Paul" ( ) just isn't the correct vote after all. That settles it, I'm voting for the youth of America. After all, they had it right back in '68! Try again, Bradley. Ron Paul? You do realize he's not on the ballot. Right?
  3. Translation: "I think my guy is going to win, but if he doesn't then everyone else is stupid." Waaaaaaaaa.
  4. Good post, Bill. Hang on to your guns and your free media. They're going to be under assault for at least the next 2 years if Obama wins. It's also important to note Obama's comments regarding trade with Colombia during the last debate. FARC and their prime benefactor, Chavez, are going to be partying in the jungle on inauguration night and the good people of Colombia will get to look forward to another 70,000 dead in the name of "justice". The thing that should scare our lib friends here the most is the cult of personality that surrounds Obama. History has demonstrated that there are few leaders who have been able to stay on the constitutional path even while they are held up as demigods. Chavez and Putin come to mind as current examples of this human failing. George Washington comes to mind as one of the few who resisted it. I'm still holding out hope for McCain because there is little doubt he'll move toward the center--just as there is little doubt Obama will move away from it. I'll be the first to salute the man if I'm wrong. In any event, Bill, I suspect you and I are voting for the same man and it is neither of these.
  5. You are exhibit A.
  6. Google seems to be a crutch upon which the uninformed and/or uneducated like to rest. Congratulations to you and Prole both.
  7. Good question. Here's the answer from Wikipedia: The old "I didn't know!" defense. Probably not the only jizz you've been swallowing these days. Your Wiki article had some interesting things to say about Frank and the banking fiasco: Government Sponsored Housing "Frank has received campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—$42,350 between 1989 and 2008–which some critics claim have influenced his support of their lending programs. Frank's former partner, Herb Moses, was an executive at Fannie Mae from 1991 to 1998, where he helped develop many of Fannie Mae’s affordable housing and home improvement lending programs. The relationship ended around the same time Moses left the company; Frank's support of Fannie and Freddy predated and continued past that relationship.[8] In 1991, Frank pushed for reduced restriction on two- and three-family home mortgages[9] In September 2003, Frank opposed Bush administration proposals for increasing oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by creating an independent agency to supervise. The proposal would have moved oversight from Congress and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to the new agency. Frank stated in 2003, "The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." [10] In 2008, Frank reiterated this opinion, calling Republican criticism of the Community Reinvestment Act in light of the nation's housing crisis a veiled attack on the poor that's racially motivated.[11] In July 2008, Frank stated Fannie and Freddy were fundamentally sound and not in danger of going under, cautioning however, that they were "not the best investments these days"[12]"
  8. How about Barney Frank running an underage homosexual prostitution ring out of his apartment? How did he get a pass on that?
  9. And you think more federal control will help?
  10. Um, yea; most people that you know, I'm sure.
  11. Could have something to do with her past KKK for gals UW sorority membership? Or maybe she just comes across as a bit of a bitch.
  12. That's a-c-c-e-p-t, genius. You've gotta stop hanging around that stove-top she-groupie--you used to possess a modest intellect. There are still some significant dynamics at work, but while I wouldn't rule McCain out yet I'm starting to think you should have taken that bet.
  13. What an ass-clown. Imagine the press field day if Palin had slipped up like this: [video:youtube]djpqD2WrsQE
  14. Foreign money. Illegal money. Dirty money.
  15. You do understand, Marylou, that one must actually work in order to retire?

    The Debate

How about calling up your new poster boy Stephen Harper, and asking him about some of his pledges? Start with his position on taxing income trusts; then maybe see how he feels about prime ministers playing manipulative games with election timing rather than, say, setting fixed dates for elections and sticking to them? Ask him how he feels about prime ministers offering high profile opposition MPs inducements to cross the floor - in exchange for cabinet posts, particularly. He feels really strongly about that one, or at least he did, for a short time. In fact, your new poster boy is a two-faced, lying hypocrite who never met a principle he wouldn't discard in a heartbeat in favour of blatant expediency. But then, two-faced, lying hypocrites will always get a free pass from you, as long as their biographies identify them as "conservative" two-faced, lying hypocrites, won't they? Oh my. You sound bitter. I'd better adjust the tension on my reel.

Honor is an issue. You should understand this.
  18. Don't flatter yourself darlin'. I find groupies uninteresting and, generally speaking, unattractive. Especially ones with tobacco habits.

I love that skit. I guess it was Sandler who forced NBC to yank it with the threat of a big lawsuit. That yuppie couple is the best.

    The Debate

Why didn't Obama explain the reason he reneged on his personal pledge to accept public campaign financing?
  21. Good post. If I recall, the last president who went crazy with the printing presses was Jimmy Carter. Federal troops in the streets? I don't think so.

    GOP Traitors

I think many right-wing pundits--and even FoxNews--may have decided they have a vested interest in an Obama victory. Their Nielsen numbers will soar! Of course, Obama and the Democrats will be busy shredding the first amendment via a revived and even more venomous version of the "Fairness Doctrine" while NPR and PBS are pumped full of taxpayer cash. (Borrowed, of course.)

    GOP Traitors

Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Barbara Boxer, Franklin Reins, Jamie Gorelik, and George Soros are Republicans? I never knew!
  24. Hmmm, that's a tough one. Let's see...maybe they could stop lobbing hundreds of rockets across the Gaza border every day? Stop blowing up buses, weddings, and pizza restaurants? Stop broadcasting children's programs that portray the murder of their neighbors as a positive attribute? Stop calling for the complete destruction of Israel? Return a kidnapped Israeli soldier? What ya think, eh punk?
  25. Well, the guy's not all that bright, so there ya go. See thread title for detail's. Now Marylou, you're not gonna start braggin' up your GED again are you?
