  1. i thought you were talking about going to see the new warren miller movie.
  2. oh, i was just there. didn't climb, but it was cool to see the place.
  3. way cool pics.
  4. i'm not independently wealthy. and i haven't used any credit this summer. but i am going to telluride to work this winter. man it's been nice NOT working all summer, though. anyway, if anybody could help me out please let me know. i'll be in seattle next week.
  5. in november some time? and have room to take my bike and xxl bouldering pad? help would really be MUCH appreciated!!!
  6. i just left the valley and am headed north. i would love to climb at smith for a few days. i'm going to shasta first, but then i'm headed for smith. not sure if i'll be getting on the internet again any time real soon, so call me at 206.618.9271 if you want to climb. i should be there in a few days if anybody can climb friday on ... i'd like to do monkey face!
  7. hey, that stone looks better than some of the shit-for-granite down here in josh.
  8. buildering is stupid. quit school and meet me in the valley tomorrow morning. we'll send some super sick shit together.
  9. yeah -- pretty unlikely i'll be spending any time at all at crystal this year. sort of crushed about that, but at least the job i have at telluride PAYS!
  10. i didn't get to check out it when i interviewed, but i really can't complain. at least not until i've actually lived there. i figure worst case i don't have to worry about my kitty freezing in my car while i'm at work ... and i can always move out if i find something better. have you seen the digs? you heading down for the exchange program this year?
  11. ha, ha. i'm still on unemployment.
  12. whew! i've already managed to find a place to live that costs less than my place in seattle ... at over 9100 ft, where i can ski home from work and don't have to share with anyone but my cat. of course, it might be the size of a car trunk, but i've been living in one of those all summer so no biggie there. anyway, if anybody heads out that way this winter and needs a place to crash send me a pm. it won't be the wyndham, but it'll be warmer than sleeping in your car!
  13. i'm a 12-hour seattle-to-slc tripper ... but i've been told i drive a little on the fast side. i can't wait to get out to indian creek myself!
  14. for f'ing crying out loud, i can't get a job in canada! i've been talking to lots of people and i haven't heard one person who has actually been to telluride tell me it's *not* worth it. i'm gonna have a blast ... even if it ain't north of the border.
  15. man, i miss squamish!!! (not that i'm not enjoying the valley, though ... )
  16. aw, but you and distel make such a cute couple!
  17. although crested butte and silverton are hopeful alternatives, my current job offer out there is at telluride. besides, you all know canada is not a "working" option. i am not independently wealthy. must work my ass off. which is fine so long as i get to ski every day. and being close to ouray and not far from indian creek sure wouldn't be bad things! oh, and telemark skis are definitely on my shopping list!
  18. i may be there all winter. well, not really THERE but really close.
  19. 'sup, erik?
  20. partners needed.
  21. i have both and personally i like the reverso better. if i'm just doing regular belays and rappels on "skinny" lines i'll use the trango, but for off the anchor belays and two seconds i don't give it a second thought - it's the reverso all the way. the reverso is a sweet device if there ever was one.
