The Dalai Lama is not a Hindu Tibetan Lamaism is a form of Buddhism incoprorating many animist pre-Buddha Tibetan religious beliefs and cultural practices.

let's start a Pope Death Pool! John Paul is getting to remind me of Brezhnev and the rest of those 80's Soviet Premiers - embalmed while still alive.
-
actually, no, i am not talking about artesian wells per se. i am talking about the same thing that forms salt crusts in the middle of death valley. high mountains all around - groundwater recharge. moisture surplus dry basin in middle - moisture defecit. groundwater discharge. but slowly. the net flow path of groundwater, in a desert, is UP, out of the ground. where it evaporates, and deposits the salts it has picked up along the way - forming salt crusts.

mattp: also i dispute your pathetic attempt to claim victory in the jaws of defeat. perhaps I should make my own long winded post "when mattp saw that once again his argument was categorically disproven by Dru, he once again ignotred the obvious and made a long winded post claiming that nonetheless he had proven himself right and Dru wrong" bla bla bla.

actually the dhali lhama said it. try the art of hapiness. The Dalai Lama probably said "Christ is a great teacher" but he also said "You don't have to follow my teachings. These are just suggestions. If you disagree with them, try something else to see if it will work for you." - Collected Wisdom of the DL, Introduction. Kinda different than Christ's "My way or the highway" huh? Seems like a stretch to brag about how the followers of the DL are actually Christians. Anyway you still haven't proved your original claim that ALL MAJOR WORLD RELIGIONS RECOGNIZE CHRIST AS A RELIGIOUS AUTHORITY. Please continue to try to prove it. It is fun watching you fail. Here are some statistics for you: Faith: Hinduism. Number of adherents: Approximately one billion.
