Drederek
Rodney King was a little more succinct.
denalidave
I'm an asshole and we didn't even have climbing gyms when I was mentored back in the olden days. Good to know I didn't need to wait till climbing gyms came around to learn the finer point of asshole cragging/climbing. Those skills transfer well into all aspects of my life. Off_White
That's probably the most generous and humble thing I've ever seen Bisharat write, usually I find him an irritating asshat. I think he's got a fair point too.
glassgowkiss
One thing gym are responsible for is proliferation of tick marks. Clownpunchers should smoke weed if they can't remember a sequence on a simple 5.11. Kind of ruins fun trying to OS.

Although I've bagged a few on a good day or three, sans tick marks.
glassgowkiss
Hard or easy is relative. 11's used to be easy, now they seem hard. However watching how top climbers climb at the crag, even lower 13's don't earn bragging rights nowadays. 5.11 is something anyone with a bit of dedication to training can do. On a personal level it might be hard, but in objective terms not so much. I am not trying to diss personal ability of climbers, but the conduct of tick marking a piss out of any given route.
