Suzanne
This is a bit of a longshot, but I'm looking to pick up someone's used randonee (AT) setup. The catch is that I need skis that are 160 or 165 in length. I wear a women's boot size 7.5/8.0 (somewhere around 23.5 in mondo sizing.) Looking to spend around $150 on them. Am willing to pay more if boots included. You can contact me at: sbigelow@u.washington.edu Thanks.
fern
I have some AT boots I want to get rid of. Nordica TR9s. I think they are mondopoint 26.5, probably about Euro sz 39.
thelawgoddess
suzanne, i think your us to mondo size conversion is off. if you wear a us women's 7.5/8 that would -- by most charts -- be more like a mondo 25.5. (i find that for alpine ski boots, though, i generally take about one full mondo size smaller than most charts would say!) boots that are too big suck! Toast
You might check Second Ascent. I saw a decent selection of AT skis there. Might be out of your budget though... it'll be tough to get anything decent for $150.
Dave_Schuldt
A 2nd vote for 2nd Ascent. You may get lucky, but be prepared to spend more. Don't worry the $$ will be well spent, the backcountry is where it's at. If you need partners, show up at Pub Club. Every Tuesday at various locations.
