It's the "A month after the hypothetical Seattle Fault quake, more than 137,000 households would still be without water." (which doesn't mean you'll have water after a full month without it either) kind of gets yer attention in this story.

Earthquakes man....bad juju. I'm hoping that the old house doesn't shake apart and collapse, if it does and we're sleeping in it..whew.

i'm really hoping my emergency plan of filtering 90 galloons of fish-tank water never has to be set in motion :)

 

the silver lining though of course will be filleting the 2 monster pacus currently residing in it :rawk:

Unless Lake Washington drains there isn't a problem. No boiling required. Just put lake water in a tub and under direct sunlight for 48-hours to kill lake buggies.
