Inspired by his mentor, Erden is planning a worthy adventure: To cycle to Denali and attempt the mountain up the Muldrow route! What a great tribute to a great adventurer: Goran Kropp!

Lets all show our support through what ever we can offer be it encouragement , donations(go to REI seattle climbing dept),Heck loan him gear if he could use it. We can start a n encouraging thread here now too!!Lets hear some ideas.

I may not be able to go to Denali this year, but hey, bikers out there maybe accompany Erden on parts of the ride. I am going to try, and it could be fun if nothing else.

By the time the road is bikeable to the begining of the Muldrow won't it be to melted out to ski or snowshoe up? "The Great Icefall" should be interesting. Best of luck, damn fool beat me to it .

I spoke to Erden the other week there, and he has grander plans than just Denali. He said that he's going to do the six summits (not Vinson) under his own power. He intends to row across the Atlantic as well as row from Seattle down to South America to do Aconcagua!!!

Yes, Erden does have grand plans of which Denali is the first leg. I admire his imagination and ambition and wish him well on his journey.
