olyclimber Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Its not looking good. They need to score some runs or this season is already in the shitter. Quote
Peter_Puget Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 What a negative Nancy. Â Just think in 49 days its the Rainiers opening day! Â $10 will get you a reserved seat, hot dog, chips and drink. Buy your tickets today and you'll get a Dustin Ackley bobble head. Â Don't forget the En Fuego season is starting soon too. Â Â Â Quote
olyclimber Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ulee is playing for the Spartans this year, first double header is March 10! Â I haven't been the the redone Dick Cheney Stadium yet, but I hope they still have the sumo suits going. Â Thought I saw a name on the SS Purple team I recognized. Got an email from their coach last week, but Ulee picked his 2013 team last August. Quote
Peter_Puget Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Oly before you type one word remember: Â IT'S STILL EARLY! Quote
olyclimber Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 And!!! We ain't gonna be in the cellar this year. Thats what they brought in the Astros for. Quote
Peter_Puget Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) One's on SS the other on En Fuego. EF plays in a real league. SS doesnt. Both were doing Fuego but when the team seemed to be running low on players he skipped to SS. Â Can't beat the drive to Shoreline. I had to say know to driving to woodinville. Peter_Puget Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Isn't driving from w seattle to Bellevue a PITA? Quote
olyclimber Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Ha yeah we turned down Rijos too. We considered En Fuego, but it was too up in the air and he got picked out of 47 kids for the Spartans Green. Will be playing in the Washington State Select League 12U division. Â Drive to the Samm Plateau isn't too bad and the coaching is very, very good. You guys should come work out at the K-Center some time with us. If you haven't been there, it is the best facility in the Seattle area by a long shot IMO. Quote
ivan Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 the sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up! Quote
olyclimber Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 No the drive isn't bad at all. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to the Samm. Plateau from my house via the express lanes. Traffic is alway bad the other direction, but not the direct we have to go...and it is clear by the time we need to head home! Â His pitching coach is at the K-Center, and we use that place quite a bit. Â Its no worse traveling than the last two years at Stods! Quote
Peter_Puget Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 Funny thing is last August I watched Noesi pitch 7 2/3 innings with no hits down in Tacoma. Thought I might witness my first no hitter. Damn he sucked today. Quote
olyclimber Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I'm starting to believe. This really smells like 2001. Quote
prole Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 This smells like where the Ichiroll stand used to be. Quote
