ColinB Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 You got 'em, I want 'em. Especially looking for some decent drill bits (that can bite into some granite if need be). I'm located down in Portland but willing to pay shipping. Also can email me at colin.bohannan@gmail.com Quote
John Frieh Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I sold mine to Donnie awhile ago... check with him and see if he is still using it Quote
kurthicks Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 For the bits: Just get some from your local hardware store. The SDS bits are the ticket for most hand drills (like the Petzl). I like to carry a spare bit most of the time. Quote
Wallstein Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 check out the Hilti TE-C3X Hammer drill bits. They will greatly increase your hand drilling speed. They don't work great if you are reusing 1/4" holes but if they are fresh holes these are the way to go. They retail for around $40 but you can find ones on ebay for around $5. They might be knock offs but I've had good luck with them. Here's an ebay link to them: http://r.ebay.com/GAzWFu Quote
Alex Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Second that, the 8$ bits at Home Depot wont last nearly as many holes as something more quality. Quote
ColinB Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Thanks for the heads up on drill bits! I found a hammer, but am still looking for a hand drill. Anyone given up on bolting? Raindawg got a spare drill taking up space? Quote
