Graybeard - North Face Conditions?

Any one been up to Graybeard NF since hwy opened or driven by and looked at it inquiring minds want to know.

Trent and I skied under the NF on the 14th. Looked thin, wet and out of shape

by my standards. A lot of wet slides as well. Problem with the HWY opening so late these last few years, is that the temps are too high to keep this face together.

Better luck next year.

We did summit Graybeard via the South side, skied almost from the summit ridge in challenging conditions, it was a warm day.

Thanks for the reports looks like wait for a early opening year. This face looks like its worth the wait.

Yes, it is pretty fun. The summit cornice however...

The face looked thin, but maybe with some colder weather it could come into condition.
