billcoe Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I was trying to upload a vid of Adam Winslow leading Jimmies Favorite at Jimmy Cliff, the new place Tim is going to out in his new book. I downloaded some free software to turn the thing 90 degrees, and can watch it normally on my computer, but the darned thing uploads sideways anyway. Anyone help out with this? I'm too cheap to buy expensive video software if that is a suggestion:-) [video:vimeo] That doesn't look right either. http://vimeo.com/33349102 Well, I have real work to go do, here's the link anyway. Crap. Quote
Otto Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Download the free viewer Irfanview. Image, rotate, Save As... Quote
billcoe Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) Thanks Otto, downloaded it and tried. It plays it but appears it only rotates stills, not movie files. Unless there is a plugin or sumpin'...... That led me to virtual dub, which doesn't do .MOV files..... Edited December 8, 2011 by billcoe Quote
billcoe Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 ...and dvdvideosoft.com says it will flip it, but when I go to load it in a pop up explains that it's not a valid Win32 file (I don't have win 64. Looks like this might end up as a new Macintosh. Quote
JasonG Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I think you can rotate videos in Picasa, also free. Quote
billcoe Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Anyone know of Picassa will do it for sure? Hi Dennis. Wuz up? Quote
JasonG Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I just checked on my machine. Picasa will rotate .mov files just fine. Quote
