WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Thinking you can stop a 500 pound rolling object on a steep slope sure adds an element of excitement.

That is some crazy ass glissading there at the end. Going for it!

I think we just found the next big "thing" in extreme sports! Couloir glissading.

I've always wanted to glissade triple couloirs.

thanks for sharing. it is relief to see some concrete proof that america doesn't have the market cornered on idiots

the glissading at the end seemed the like the topper.. maybe they know the runout better but no ax and steep enough to send the first guy down looks like they all want to end up as a bunch of broken legs and bashed heads in a pile at the bottom.

If you follow the link provided by Feck, there is also a video from the point of view of the rider, including the multi-thousand feet tumble trying to stay ahead of the tumbling sled! Freaking nuts!

Both those videos are great. I love how there are pieces of the sled all over the place in the rider video. All those people up top and not one pair of skis or a snowboard? they could be ripping up that mountain with basically no effort. i need to go hang out with that crew.
