kevbone Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Since the Repugnacants have taken over the House, they've tried to redefine rape. They've tried to weaken environmental standards and have given the wealthy substantial tax breaks. They want to cut funding to Planned Parenthood, PBS and many other agencies which will result in more people loosing their jobs. What I want to know is where is the job creation they promised..... Lucky Larry Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) Maybe in the service sector, all the low pay, long hours, crazy shifts you could ask for--at least it's a job; remember REI is always hiring too. Supposedly there is opportunity if you make it. How bout another food cart? Or maybe you just need to be re-educated for a job in art, history, dance, music. Actually there are jobs K-bone if you can rise above the competition or your a genius or work for less. I'm sorry Kevin, the baby boomers got the last of luxurious free time. You get the necessities and a family. Don't want to be an ass about it but get use to it Kevin. Americans are not only apathetic, they're mostly obese or overweight and, like me, don't want to work just to barely make it--why bother when I can barely make it and not work. Lucky Larry Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) move to portland where young people go to retire It's true, they are still moving there which are pushing the unemployment figures even higher. Just buy a bicycle w/o brakes--cool, huh? 'Everybody's going to get laid', Percival Sweetwater. Edited February 18, 2011 by Lucky Larry Quote
