Lucky Larry Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 anyone know someone that has reasonable price (whats reasonable?)in Salem or Portland Oregon? I have a gold crown that is zinging me. Quote
DPS Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I had to have a tooth pulled and I did not have insurance at the time. The anaesthesiologist bill would have been more than the dentist's so I opted to have the fucker pulled out sans anesthesia. You may try that route to save a few bucks. Quote

denalidave Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 My gradnpa was a dentist in the Navy and I have a few of his old dental tools... I'll do the root canal for half of the lowest bid. (Full disclosure - I am not a dentist but play one on TV.) Quote

Except for some really serious stuff, you often have the option of local anesthetic or knock ya totally out stuff. They don't need an anesthesiologist for the local which is normally just fine and pretty pain free except for those who are extremely dentist averse (it's still a bit uncomfortable to sit there hearing/smelling them work on you). That being said, I have nothing to add as I have no recollection how much my stuff cost several years ago with insurance. Quote
