GPS coordinates for route of Wapta Traverse

Hi there,

 

I was wondering if anybody knows where to find or has gps coordinates of the route for the Wapta Traverse. We do the following direction:

 

- peyto hut

- balfour hut

- scott duncan hut

 

I am not looking for the hut coordinates, I have those. I am just wondering if anybody has a more detailed route.

Carrying a ham half way and then eating it sounds like a better idea to me

The ham only made it as far as the Bow Hut, where it became Easter dinner.

I've heard the new Bow hut is nice. The last time I was there (80s) it was a nasty quonset hut. We were going to traverse the Wapta, but instead spent 3 days sitting in it and doing short ski runs to stay warm. We then drove to Lake Louise and had a in a nice warm bar.
