err ... blatantly false participation numbers have been announced to legitimize voting under a military dictatorship in Honduras and western governments (lead by Canada and the US) and the corporate media (including the NYT) are rushing to cite these false numbers to justify their support for said dictatorship. To be sure, nobody knows exactly how many people voted but it is certain to be less than 50%.
