A big loss to the Alpine Climbing community. I just read in yesterday's Climbing Magazine e-update that a rescue party was about to reach his elevation and I'd hoped for the best.

Wow, when I first read about the current rescue going out for him I just a bad feeling - I just had a feeling that he was not making it out of this one. Such a shame, RIP.
