MichaelKnoll Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Need a mesh bag to protect your trusty-but-dusty rope from tangling and damage in a top-loading washing machine? I found an inexpensive, handy mesh bag on Amazon.com that worked well: The "Honey-Can-Do LBG-01142 Mesh Laundry Bag, White," $6.50, at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F51ANU/ref=ox_ya_oh_product. I thought I'd pass it along to save others time and money. This bag is big enough to stack my 60-meter rope very loosely for wash-water circulation, porous enough to let wash water circulate freely, and small enough to keep the rope from tangling in my old top-loading washer. YocumRidge Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 "Does your rope need washing?" Â Yes, it does. Â 1 bar grated Ivory soap in the bathtub. Cost: 50 cents. Quote

beer_factor Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 How long do you guys put your ropes in the dryer? Quote

letsroll Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 daisy chain it and through it in with woolite. I did it by hand a couple of times and no thanks. Quote
Squalls Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I also daisy chain the rope and through it in with woolite. Works well for me. I have heard the rope brush works really well, but never tried it. Quote
