Does your rope need washing?

Need a mesh bag to protect your trusty-but-dusty rope from tangling and damage in a top-loading washing machine? I found an inexpensive, handy mesh bag on Amazon.com that worked well: The "Honey-Can-Do LBG-01142 Mesh Laundry Bag, White," $6.50, at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F51ANU/ref=ox_ya_oh_product. I thought I'd pass it along to save others time and money. This bag is big enough to stack my 60-meter rope very loosely for wash-water circulation, porous enough to let wash water circulate freely, and small enough to keep the rope from tangling in my old top-loading washer.

As many as it needs.

daisy chain it and through it in with woolite. I did it by hand a couple of times and no thanks.

I wash my rope when in the shower.

I also daisy chain the rope and through it in with woolite. Works well for me. I have heard the rope brush works really well, but never tried it.

I do the same, but I think the rope brush would be best. I should get one...
