kevino Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 So today was my first day off from work in a while so I decided to get up into mountains and enjoy whatever was left of the snow. It was 38 degrees when I left the Stuart Lake TH at 11 am. It shows in the pictures! Most of the snow not on the north facing aspects were melting out by 4 pm. here are some pictures.... I wish I wasn't on call this coming weekend...the larches look to be in primo condition. Was the Asgaard Pass trail very slippery? It shows its depth and texture really well. The plaque could read something like; "You could've rapped it, but you just HAD to walk."
