hanman Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 Trip: Exfo Dome - Westward Ho Date: 10/4/2009 Trip Report: James and I took a nice trip to Blueberry Hill to climb Westward Ho! to the summit yesterday. We replaced 3 missing hangers and removed the copious tat from many 30 meter pro bolt non stations. Rather than leaving crap hanging all over the route, perhaps subsequent parties could bring a second rope and use the stations provided A great day in the fall on the dome- a bit cold in the am, but it became perfectly warm at 11. Get up there before the snow flies... M. hanman Posted October 9, 2009 Author Share Posted October 9, 2009 The climbing on the last pitches have a bit of vegetation, but it's 5.7- 5.8 on ok gear, reasonably easy route finding, and gets to a great little summit.
