Brandon_Workman Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 Anybody want to head to smith or skaha or anywhere dry for 3 to 5 days during this time? Ive got wheels, gear, climb 5.10 or follow harder (somtimes). Never been to either place. Both sound excellent. Quote

ryland_moore Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 Hope you barbq his ass and get in line early! I have never had any trouble with that climb, but a friend of mine fell b/w 3 and 4 bolt and compound fractured her leg after hitting the ramp! CRAZY. Still a fun climb. Have to fight other climbers who climb up the 5.8 around the corner and try to set up TR for large groups sometimes. Quote
North_by_Northwest Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 Brandon: I think I have that week off too. I was also thinking of heading to Smith. Am only interested in the longer stuff and trad lines though, maybe a little sport. I want to fool around on Monkey Face too. If this stuff sounds good to you let me know. Quote
bolt_clipper Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 How do you fall off of the PHW? Seems pretty hard to do. Still, I saw a guy falling up (literally) Lichen It, so I suppose everything is possible. Quote
