Can you give us a bit more to work on? Are they wide up front, wide all along, Really W I D E ??

I have a fairly wide forefoot and am happy in my Dynafit Zzeros, with a bt of punching.

Check out the boot reviews on Wildsnow.com

More info on my foot (how personal): narrow heel, high arch, wide forefoot. Overall medium volume. After trying on 15 pairs of mountaineering boots, found the best fit with Sportiva Nepal Evos (of course it had to be one of the most expensive pairs around). Thanks.

Mnthippy. Sounds like we have the same foot. I have the megarides and they are narrow. After a couple of years I also decided that I need a wider forefoot.

This is second hand but I understand that the BD boots might work for you. I have not tried them on as I have a tough time justifying the cost of another pair of AT boots. Thank goodness that the Megarides are nearing the end of thier life span :)

I will be interested in what you end up with.

Feet sound reasonably similar to mine except my arch is not particularly high. I have been happy in Sportiva Nepal Tops, Gramont hikers, Scarpa T1s, Salomon X-Waves, and Dynafit Zzeros. The latter 2 have required some punching.

I switched from Megarides to Methods early in the season last year and they were much roomier in the toe box. They seem higher volume than the Megarides overall.

Of course, they're noticeably heavier than my Megarides were, but the fit was right on and they ski great.
