WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Need help: Converting Word to PDF

Recommended Posts

Hey, I'm trying to convert my 6x9" word document into a 6x9" PDF file so I can upload it to the printer.

My conversion software does a great job, but scales the pdf to 8.5x11". Anyone know of software or a fix for this problem?

scale the output of the PDF in your printer settings until it prints at the size that you need, then you can cut the excess from the edges of the 8.5x11 paper???

This option may work for you.

Download the free PDF convertor doPDF. From MS Word, select print, and select doPDF as the printer. In the advanced options for the doPDF printer, you can select a custom size for the output PDF file.

Here is a test doc that I converted to PDF using doPDF.
