ivan Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 clearly need to practice all aspects of penj'ing prior to going to the valley - anyone got advice on good spots round the pdx area, even if they're (obviously) on a smaller scale? i can think of bunch of options at beacon of course, but that peregrine is a mean motherfucker. where else? i'll take general advice on the art as well, as i've yet to give it a go. dan_forester Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 also at Rocky Butte - (1) warrior wall: don't remember the names of the climbs but there is a bolted 10 something on the right and an 11-something in the corner to the left. you could probably do some swinging between those 2. Â (2) also between espresso and blackberry jam, maybe? or even just on blackberry jam. Â I haven't been out there in a while so my memory might be faulty. Quote
ScottP Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I like the sound of thinly-veiled despair as the camera pans toward the top (with the upper half still to go) at the end of that clip. Quote
marc_leclerc Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 just get your partner to follow all the pendulums... leading them is simple enough. If your soloing or your partner is not as experienced as you then that doesnt work.... I really can't suggest anything as I live in Canada and I doubt you wanna drive up here to practice doing pundulums Quote
