justinp Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Made it out Saturday with half the Tappet brethren. Not sure if I was soloing with Click or Clack? Cool place if ur a 5.12 + climber or a aid climber looking for a workout and shelter from the rain. BTW if Ivan or Jeff wants to pipe in and let me know how the heck u pull off a weekend trip to Zion over V-day weekend that would be much appreciated Quote
111 Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 are you checking your text messages in the middle of being tied up with 4 aiders!! AyeYayYay! Quote
justinp Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 (edited) Pretty sure he click or clack was working on packin one. Although there was certainly no issues with cell coverage as I was rockin Pandora on my blackberry all day. Next time I will follow Ivan’s lead and make the grueling approach with sixer in hand Edited February 16, 2010 by justinp Quote

billcoe Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/North_America/United_States/Oregon/Portland_Metro_Area/Rat_Cave/ We're hiding the location of the rat Cave 'cause there's a line of folks waiting to get on these routes? Mayhaps someone needs to discuss it over there on RC.com I wonder where all them rocks are coming from laying there in the dirt? Quote

el jefe Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 i think that using aiders to ascend a sport route pretty much has to qualify as the least challenging form of climbing. you guys must be hard up for an excuse to get out of the house. Quote

NAH, SLAGGING ON OTHERS DOING IT WHILE CONTRIBUTING NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE ONESELF ON THE INTERNET IS:-) What else can you do when it's raining so hard? I still have moss on my harness and gobies on the backs of my hands from the rain and moss soaked cracks of the weekend before. This looks much more fun. Drier as well. Any climbing pics Jefe? Don't make us beg. COMMMMEEEEOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!!!1111 Quote
ivan Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 BTW if Ivan or Jeff wants to pipe in and let me know how the heck u pull off a weekend trip to Zion over V-day weekend that would be much appreciated the key is broaching the subject 3 weeks in advance - say: so, you're going out of town 2 weekends from now, watcha think 'bout me going to utard the weekend after that? sure, sounds great! then, 3 weeks later: whaaaaaaaaa? dude, you said it was fine!?! a taste of u-tard!
