Balboa77
The producers of "The Office" and "The Biggest Loser" are casting for a new reality show about people ages 45-65 who boulder.... more info here - http://www.castingduo.com/boom
EWolfe
heh. More like casting for ex-yuppies. Why are people fascinated by late-life discovery? Oh, yeah - the baby-boomers are getting old. P.S. I fit your age range
el jefe
sadly, ewolfe, no personal discovery has yet occurred in your case. sounds like you are emotionally still stuck in 8th grade.
ewhack
the show has begun
Dan_Miller
By the show's producers thinking; surf instructor, rock climber, caterer, or florist are all essentially the same when it comes to mid-life crisis folks. I suppose that's essentially correct.
tomtom
Being a florist is a lot like surfing cc.com because you spend most of your time avoiding all the pricks.
G-spotter
I'm offended that they equated boulderers and climbers.
DirtyHarry
"Ditched the 9-to-5 to become a rock climber"? I didn't know "rock climber" was a profession. Shit, I've been missing out this whole time.
hemp22
between the title of the thread and the name of the poster, I was hoping this was going to be for the much-anticipated Cliffhanger sequel
DavidHiers
Perhaps people are not nearly as fascinated by mid-life discovery as Madison Avenue is fascinated by the disposable incomes of mid-life people. Us geezers do like to watch other geezers act like non-geezers so we can think that we're non-geezers. We've been known to buy a ton of crap to prove that we're non-geezers, too...
