Nah, most of the Olympic activity - all the alpine ski events - are at Creekside, on the far side of Whistler Mountain. All that's happening on the Blackckomb side is the bobsleigh/skeleton/luge and that facility is pretty self-contained & road-accessed.

 

Still sucks, though, but it could have been a lot worse.
