See, this hippie had the bike, and DFA hadn't a bike, making him, in this situation, underprivileged. Now, everyone knows that hippies are all trust fund funded hypocrites, so, in the interest of social justice, DFA smashed the hippie, and redistributed the hippie's wealth (bicycle) to the needy (DFA).
