sossity Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Ok, are you ready for this? Our early results are in and we're excited to share them with everyone who's helped us out throughout this entire effort. For starters, the iPod raffle brought in nearly $800! We sold close to 325 books the night of the event. And all together, with the raffle, the book sales, and the silent auction, we've so far raised . . . nearly $17,000! That's absolutely an incredible number and we extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who's contributed in one way or another. And we're still selling books and collecting money from the silent auction, so we're not done yet.
Lucky Larry Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 It was a great cause and a lot of fun to see sooo many warm friendly people I haven't seen in a while. I'm the old guy with the green stripe shirt, squinty eyes and long hair standing with Jennifer. Thanks for all the greetings everyone and best wishes.
