Any one ever tried putting gasoline (auto) into a dromedary ? I need a collapsible jerry can and the ones I have found are $$$

You think the gas would eat through a dromedary meant for water..I read they are super tough ?

Thoughts ?

MSR says they are lined with food grade polyurethane, which has "excellent" resistance to gasoline. My only concern is that the membrane layer is very thin, so an older bag may allow for leaks, as it would with water.
