tvashtarkatena Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Trip: Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness - NW Ridge of Reynolds, NW Ridge of Oval Date: 7/17/2008 Trip Report: On July 17th and 18th, Kevin and I headed over to the Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness for a bit of peak bagging and wildflower viewing. Both were pleasant scrambles with wonderful views of the arid East and the not-so-arid Cascades. A single lucky swat: one deerfly that will never bother anyone ever again Oval’s NW Ridge, just right of the face, with Reynolds in the distance Kevin on the NW Ridge of Reynolds Ladybugs and wrecked flies on the summit of Reynolds Insect berserker; a red ant protects her herd of aphids Team Berzerker Bumblebee on stonecrop Indigo Ants on balsamroot.
