tvashtarkatena Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Sting. Lots and lots of Sting. And Journey. Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Not bands, but in the same spirit: Beethoven Sibelius Dvorak Tchaikovski all symphonic works at least... Nice.....surely must have Bach and Motzart. I'll swap in Megadeth for Tchaikovski. Their catalog is consistently good, unlike Metallica (Load/Reload) Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Black Sabbath is a good choice, BTW. Not only do you get about 6 awesome ozzy albums, but two with dio, and Born Again (one of my fav's) Quote

minx Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 KKKKKK... yes that would be a satisfactory swap. Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 KKKKKK... yes that would be a satisfactory swap. Then you could play out that video of Dave talking to himself on the Island "hello me,..." Fahq, but you probably would want a volleyball to talk too as well Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 "and the mah-oon, shahnz on the ba-ayyyyy..." Quote
kevbone Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 I find this hypothetical question difficult. I like so much music…..KKK I think you have good idea about trying to relax in the evening while listening to classical music. I would be missing Van Halen, Led Zeplin, Hendrix and Rush…… Quote

I would be missing Van Halen, Led Zeplin, Hendrix and Rush…… Rush is a good choice because of the size of the catalog, and evolving sound/style. I'm partial to Hagar.. if I could combine all his solo works with the VH stuff, that would be tempting. Quote
Off_White Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 if i was gonna be strained on some friggin island, i'd bring tiger balm and x-lax. Are those death metal bands? Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 If anyone attempted to play Rush on the island, I'd spear kill them. Quote
minx Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 i'd cut off my ears if someone made me listen to rush or pink floyd. Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 i'd cut off my ears if someone made me listen to rush or pink floyd. pink floyd is depressing enough in civilization. Quote
minx Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Sting. Lots and lots of Sting. And Journey. would you like some celine dion to go w/that crap? Quote
kevbone Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 i'd cut off my ears if someone made me listen to rush or pink floyd. You dont like Rush.....what wrong with you? Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 As for Van Halen, I'd rather hear my own screams from sawing my own leg off with an oyster shell. Quote
minx Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 i'd cut off my ears if someone made me listen to rush or pink floyd. You dont like Rush.....what wrong with you? nothing. you like rush? what's wrong with you? Blech! Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Cry of the Valkyries might good to have. You could climb a coconut tree and drop them on crabs. I love the smell of coconut milk in the morning! Quote
kevbone Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 I grew up listening to Rush...... Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I grew up listening to Rush...... it's evident that you fantasize about being on the train to Bangkok,... and hit stops along the way... Quote
minx Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 kevbone, i think you need to rethink your last statement Quote
