None of which are easily replacable. I like these cams I want to fix them. Is there someone somewhere who fixes trigger wires for $$$$?? Aliens, CCH doesn't market a trigger repair kit, but you may be able to deal with them directly...although I've given up on using Aliens since the big QC and recall debacle. genepires Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Dylan Taylor made a post here one time about fixing triggers with weed wacker string. I did it to one of mine and it works great. Pass the string through the cam holes and then melt it with a lighter to make a ball that won't go back through. Feed the string through trigger and other cam lobe and cut n melt at appropriate place. His post has photos and worth checking out if you are onthe cheap with the repairs. lancegranite Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 I've done my own trigger repair many times. Use 1/16" wire rope and nico sleeves. The crimping tool will cost you a little, but you can easily pay for the whole setup by fixing a couple more units for friends. 1/16" does not repair Metolius or Aliens.
