bub Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Have you ever experienced fear while on lead? Has your ego ever taken control of your thoughts? (I'm a great climber because I can climb x, y, and z.) These thoughts are taping energy from your climbing and preventing you from pushing to the next level. Our intention is to help people improve self-awareness so they can become more powerful when interacting with challenging situations, whether they are challenged by a demanding rock climb, operating a competitive business, being a better teacher, or more present parent. A warrior is an archetype for courage that we all act through when facing challenging, stressful, and risky situations. Sometimes we act powerfully as a warrior would and sometimes we feel overcome by stress and therefore ineffective. This archetype exemplifies the way we need to respond to difficult situations. By learning how a soldier or warrior handles stress we become more effective in less perilous, yet still important, situations. We all desire to be courageous when challenged. By learning how to embody the warrior archetype we rally our attention and therefore our courage. Being a warrior may seem like an aggressive, male approach but it is just as much a receptive, female one. By joining with the challenge, applying energy as needed, modifying your approach to what is required by the challenge, you blend both male and female energies and use attention impeccably. Bug Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Do not confuse "bub" with "bug". I do not experience fear on lead. I am too stupid.

ken4ord Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 So these days we are not uncaging our souls, but releasing our inner warrior. hmm, damn it just when I am getting the hang of something it gets changed. I generally stay away from x routes; and I guess I have never seen a y or z route. Those must be scary as hell.
