As a physical therapist in N Seattle, I work with many necks and backs. The 1st thing to know about how to deal with your problem is to know what aggravates your symptoms. 2nd, if you've been dealing with the problem for a while (> 3 mos) your back may have already developed some weakness from the muscle guarding and tension that is likely present.
