mattp Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Here's some of the goodness up there: Rainman, 5.10c Dark Rhythm, 5.10b Jacob's Ladder, 5.11b (or 5.10b A-0) West Buttress 5.9 These four routes are all about 8 pitches to the Blueberry Terrace, with a few more above that leading to the top of the Dome. Lets do it. Quote
Otto Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Hi Matt, thanks for the photo-stoke. Dark Rhythm is a great route; I hope to lead the crux pitch some day soon! Coincidentally, I'm going up there tomorrow to do the West Buttress with MarkL; we hope the big flake is still attached. Cheers! Quote
mattp Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Last I heard, the route was OK. Too bad you won't be joining us on Wednesday! (See "partners" forum.) Quote
Jopa Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 The route was in great shape yesterday. The flakes moan when you climb them but if you can tune that out they are a lot of fun. Quote
MCash Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Some more X-Dome stoke. BWR on pitch #5 of the West Buttress. Dark Rhythm Pitch #3 flake traverse. Mattp just above the sweet tips crack on pitch 5 of Dark Rhythm. Mattp tearing up the 10c crux pitch on Dark Rhythm. This pitch is really fun with some wild sidepulling off the corner. Rappin off the relentless 10b slab pitch on Rainman after getting spanked. I think this was pitch 4. Gary Y. and partner on Jacob's Ladder. Wish I could join you guys on Wednesday. Quote
